OUR STORY
A name carried by two.
Monroe and Alexandria. Woven into one.

The Founders
Two disciplines. One company.
Monrovia was founded by DaNeisha Alexandria and James Monroe Lipscomb IV — a husband and wife building this business in tandem from two distinct disciplines.
DaNeisha brings more than a decade of senior operational leadership at a NASDAQ-listed company, where she has built systems, led teams, and built a compliance function from the ground up. The discipline behind Monrovia — documented protocols, trained personnel, accountable service — comes directly from that career.
James is the fourth of his name, raised inside a family business his parents owned and operated. The craft of this trade was learned at the side of the people who did it best. He brings over a decade of IT and operational audit experience — and a personal standard for the work itself: what excellence looks like in practice, what shortcuts to refuse, what details matter when no one is watching.
Together: institutional rigor and inherited craft. The result is Monrovia.
The Origin
Monrovia is the union of two names, and the shared conviction of the husband and wife behind them. The name carries both of their middle names — Monroe and Alexandria — fused into one word. A private detail. Known to those they choose to tell.
Together, they have six children. Everything Monrovia is built to become is built with them in mind. The standard of this work, the discipline behind it, the refusal to cut corners — all of it is a form of inheritance. Something worth passing down.
Monrovia is insured, bonded, and registered to operate across commercial, medical, and government sectors. Women-owned, Texas HUB eligible, and registered with SAM.gov. Every member of our team is background-checked and trained on documented protocols before serving a client. Every visit is reviewed before our team leaves. These are not differentiators. They are the floor.

WHY WE BUILT THIS
Service, refined to an art.
We are stewards of the spaces where life happens — homes, practices, offices, and the moments in between.
Monrovia did not begin as a business plan. It began as a calling — toward the craft of service, and toward the spaces where life actually happens. James grew up inside a family business in this trade. Service has always been his form of stewardship. DaNeisha brings the discipline of leadership at scale and the conviction that a well-tended space is not a luxury — it is the foundation that lets families, practices, and businesses thrive through whatever life brings.
We built Monrovia for the people who treat their work as a craft. And for the spaces that deserve to be tended in kind.

WHAT WE ARE BUILDING
For The Six Watching Us Build It
Every decision Monrovia makes is made with permanence in mind. A business built to outlast its founders cannot afford shortcuts, inconsistency, or operating any way other than the way it intends to be remembered.
Today, Monrovia is a service company centered on cleaning. In time, it will become more — expanding deliberately into adjacent disciplines, always at a pace that allows our standards to be carried, never compromised.
That is the inheritance we are building. For our six children. For the clients who choose us. For the team that carries the name forward.
